During march, field visits took place across six communes to meet with cooperatives benefiting from projects under the solidarity agriculture initiative, and identify the key elements required for developing Business Plans. These aim to create a clear and sustainable financial strategy for the cooperatives’ agricultural activities, particularly poultry farming (Beldi chicken) and the value-added processing of cereals and legumes.
The visits helped strengthen collaboration between various stakeholders involved in the solidarity agriculture project and provided a strategic framework to support the economic and social growth of rural communities. In the future, regular follow-ups will ensure that cooperatives are supported throughout the implementation of their business plans, with adjustments made as necessary in response to changing conditions and emerging opportunities.
