UM6P is an institution focused on applied research and innovation, strategically located in the Green City Mohammed VI near Marrakech. UM6P's programs are tailored to address African development challenges, such as food security and urbanization, fostering innovation and entrepreneurship among students, researchers, and educators. The Agricultural Innovation and Technology Transfer Center (AITTC) which is part of the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (CAES) of the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P), provides high-quality research and services related to agronomy, soils, and the environmental sciences, for the benefit of Moroccan and African agriculture. Following the philosophy of learning by doing, AITTC has demonstration platforms and experimental sites open to different actors in agriculture, to encourage innovation and R&D in response to local and regional challenges. It includes various fields of research: species conservation and introduction, BMP, farming systems development, rehabilitation, digital agriculture, etc.
