Direction Régionale du Conseil Agricole (DRCA)

The extension arm of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fishery, Rural Development, Waters and Forests, will assist in the organization of all dissemination and training activities related to the nine selected projects. DRCA was recently established to develop a multidimensional and multi-stakeholder advisory system that empowers farmers, shifting from mass extension to a demand-driven advisory system. They will also, provide supporting funds (up to 250 000 Canadian Dollars) for the dissemination and training activities related to the Project. Based on the project outcomes, a specific training will be designed, in collaboration with the DRCA.These trainings will take into consideration women’s needs and priorities to tackles the barriers to their inclusion in the GG development projects.
